Focus & Attention
‘Focus & Attention’ is an everyday, personal experience of someone who is infatuated with pattern and how light can change things. At first, this piece looks like a still-life of a dark colored drink, but once the eye has explored the details there, they are led to play among the figures who are engaged in community. Finally, the viewer turns their gaze to the ceiling tiles and their texture in the reflective light. ‘Focus & Attention is part of the ‘&’ series, which is a song of praise for all the ways God brings us together; they are all holy.
