Lava Flow

Having just been learned of the massive volcano eruption in Hawaii, I felt devastated knowing that much of the area where I had once visited was changed forever. There were many accounts of the losses in the areas and many photos depicting this. Therefore, this mixed media piece represents the images both from the collage inclusion and my own representation of the colors and sights many experienced. I used acrylic and collage in this painting.
