21* 47 N 72* 10 W Encaustic, Oil, Ink, Paper on Wood Board Canvas - My inspiration for this piece derived from my 21st anniversary trip to the Turks and Caicos Island, where we stayed on Grace Bay. I was drawn to discover the lay lines of Grace Bay and saw the correlation with my life. It being my 21st anniversary, 47th year, born in 1972, overcoming the Law represented by 10. There was a storm out in the ocean, hurricane nearby, the clouds gave the water a fascinating changing hue.
