Smokey Mountain Stream Div. III, Second place, Oil/Acrylic

Moved by the quiet stream while hiking the trails of the Smokey Mountains. I marveled at the way the water cascaded through the jagged rocks that riddled the surroundings. Fallen trees and moss added to the depth of the experience. There was a certain peacefulness to the scene that I earnestly wanted to capture and share with those that view the painting.
