What A Hoot! "Eggs"actly A Dozen
“What A Hoot! Eggs-actly A Dozen” is a watercolor on fine art watercolor paper. This artwork was inspired by “rainbow eggs” (a box of naturally different colored eggs) purchased from a friend who raises a variety of chickens who lay eggs whose color varies with each species that lays it, as well as my joy in puns and word games. The color contrasts with a variety of colored cartons begged to be taken on as a challenge with the transparency of watercolors for a series of artworks.
